The New Year was brought in true style at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. With all three venues sold out to maximum capacity, our guests came in raring to go to bring in 2012 with their family, friends and loved ones.
Serenewty 2012 - Prego was transformed into a Buddha Bar theme with DJ Gary pumping rhythmic beats through the night setting all our guests moving on the dance floor. Chef Rossano Renzelli added flavour to the party with his magically crafted menu with Calamari Fritti, Parma Ham Wrapped Grissini, Stuffed Squid with Risotto and a Seafood Bar and tempting dessert to top it all with Chocolate-Filled Kisses (Baci), Amaretto Truffles and Pandoro.
Daawat-E-Khaas - Kangan guests were given a warm welcome with live contemporary Indian music playing in the background, enabling them to savour their favourite Indian delicacies over a family filled atmosphere on the 18th floor with a panoramic view of Mumbai city. The aromas of an authentic Indian menu crafted by Master Chef Ajay Chopra filled the air ensuring your last dinner of the year was one to remember, with a choice of Kaffir Lime Scented Arabian Sea Prawns with Pineapple Chutney, Paneer Gulakand Tikka, Malabari Lobster Tails with Carrot Upma and Moilee Sauce and creative desserts with Chocolate Rasmalai Cheese Cake and Gajar Halwa Spring Rolls with Gulab Ice Cream.
The Super Spread Dinner - Seasonal Tastes offered a lavish spread with over 200 choices with live stations of Mexican, Asian, Indian and local favorites offering an array of culinary treats to suit everyone’s palette. The buffet offered an endless mezze, noodle and dessert bars clubbed with zippy beverages. The temptations include Honey Glazed Duck with Apricot and Wine Braised Cabbage, Baby Back Ribs in Smoky BBQ Sauce, Meen Moilee, Silk Tofu with Black Mushroom, Ginger Sauce and Hand-made Indian Sweets.
