The next stage of the year-long Westin Well-Being Movement was the announcement of the new nutrition-focused offerings, The Westin Eat Well Menu for Kids, in partnership with SuperChefs™ which was unveiled at The Westin Mumbai Garden City on Sunday 17th August with a fun filled and educative Culinary Class for the budding little chefs.
As an advocate for wellness and healthy eating, Westin teamed up with SuperChefs, a group of doctors, dentists, dieticians, chefs and other experts dedicated to educating kids on the importance and the fun of eating smart, to create The Westin Eat Well Menu for Kids which engages children through a colourful, playful menu placemat. The extensive new menu, which is currently available at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, includes eight signature dishes created and tested by kids, receiving a stamp of approval from notoriously finicky eaters. The fun and interactive menu is filled with inventive dishes like Build Your Own Fruit Crepes that allow kids to actually play with their food, providing a sense of discovery while imparting the value of healthy eating.
Taking the healthy eating among kids to patron and locals, The Westin Mumbai Garden City organized a fun-filled cooking class with Oberoi International School. During the session Executive Chef Ajay Chopra engaged with the children by teaching them easy to make healthy food options for their lunch boxes. While the parents remained onlookers for the day, kids took the centre-stage and enjoyed cooking delicious and nutritious food.
Westin Hotels & Resorts believe that eating well isn't just for adults. In order to promote fun with healthy eating among kids, The Westin Mumbai Garden City will pursue various engagements and awareness drive on Eat Well Menu for Kids at the hotel. While our SuperFoodsRX™ Menu will continue providing healthy food and beverage options to our guests, helping them feel better when they arrive.
