All the guests were wowed as renowned artist Sangeeta Babani recreated her canvas magic with painting live on a BMW as they savored on the scrumptious art-inspired food prepared by Executive Chef Rahul Dhavale and delectable wine by Charosa Vineyards at Westin Ballroom.



It was a perfect blissful afternoon to soak in the sun over an irresistible brunch at our elevating property with Sangeeta Babani live car painting masterpiece and her creations on the theme of the bustling and zealous aura of ‘Bombay City’. The guests who comprised of prominent media personalities, wine, art & food enthusiasts witnessed her signature blend of realism and abstractionism as she painted the swanky BMW car (Authorized partners Infinity cars) with the vibrant palette her art follows.

Fashion Inspires Food at the unveiling of mapxencaRS latest Indo Western Collection!

The Westin Mumbai Garden City in association with Jyotiee Balani played host to an exclusive preview of the Indo-Western Collection with talented duo Riddhi – Siddhi’s designer label mapxencaRS on 24th September 2014.

MapxencaRS is a high end designer label that creates custom made women and menswear. The label has been started by twin sisters Riddhi & Siddhi Mapxencar in September 2009. The style of label is western which aims at making structured & conceptualized garments with a touch of futuristic elements in it. The embroidery incorporated in garments aims at giving an illusion of print and textures rather just an embellishment. The garments are made from only pure silks and natural cottons and linen. The label aims at meticulously crafted garments that are stylized and tailored to meet contemporary fashion lovers.

Executive Chef Ajay Chopra showcased food that has been inspired by the theme fashion. Designer display cakes which are inspired from the collection were placed for display near the dresses. Fashionable food for eg : Sous vide chicken roulade with cauliflower espuma, carrot brittle and jus jelly were dished out live from counters. These preparations were created using Molecular Gastronomy and were finished & plated in front of the guests. All the desserts were petit and in sync with the theme fashion.


The designer’s latest festive collection was showcased in an enthralling fashion filled evening as the guests enjoyed a fusion of fashion, delicious appetizers and wine from Charosa Vineyards at The Westin Grand Ballroom.

The chic guests at this delightful evening enjoyed exclusive access to the preview of the meticulously crafted garments of pure silks, natural cottons & linen by celebrated Fashion Designers Riddhi & Siddhi Mapxencar combined with the decadence of scrumptious food and wine at The Westin Mumbai Garden City.
