Chef’s Table at The Westin Mumbai Garden City

A chef's table is the most recognized table in a restaurant reserved usually for VIPs and special guests. Patrons are served a themed tasting menu prepared and served by the head chef himself.

Foodies now have a chance to experience the same through the Chef’s Table Week being organized by the team behind Citibank Restaurant Week. We will be showcasing our very own Chef Ajay Chopra’s Tasting Menus at Kangan.

The focus here is to experience tasting menus and interact with the MasterChef himself whilst savouring his signature dishes and enjoying a culinary experience hand crafted especially for them.

Our patrons will have the luxury of not having to worry about what to order as each and every dietary preference will be taken into account by our chef and his team.

The six course Chef’s tasting menu is priced at INR 2500 ++. Reservations can be made exclusively through www.chefstableweek.com and will go live a week prior to the event, currently scheduled for March 4-10, 2013.

Pond's Femina Miss India 2013, the country's most prestigious beauty pageant is back with a bang. The 50th year of Pond's Femina Miss India 2013 will witness a new era of the bold and beautiful. This year Pond's Femina Miss India has conducting 12 city auditions and 7 city pageants. After the grand success in 12 cities, it was time for the finale which was held in the city of dreams, Mumbai at The Westin Mumbai Garden City.

Dazzling ambience, sizzling beauties and eye grabbing catwalks. The girls checked in at the hotel on 20^th February 2013 and they filled the hotel with more zeal and zest! The Pond’s Femina Miss India contestants were greeted at The Westin Mumbai Garden City with garlands and vibrant smiles. The girls were escorted to their rooms to rest and relax. All arrangements to make the girls feel at their best were implemented so that they could be quietly energized and gear up for their grooming program. Enjoying every location and absorbing the picturesque views of Mumbai’s skyline, the contestants settled into revitalizing comfort.

The contestants also feasted on the authentic and sinful delicacies of our hotel. To rejuvenate the energy levels of the contestants, the Heavenly Spa was just the right place to relax. The Westin Mumbai Garden City is pleased to announce key appointments that have taken place in the month of February 2013.

Pastry Chef - Siddharth Anand

We would like to welcome on board, Chef Siddharth Anand who has joined us as Pastry Chef. He has completed his Diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Advance Management, Kolkata and acquired his Degree in Hotel Management from Queen Margaret University College Edinburgh, Scotland. He comes with over 9 years of experience in the industry. His last assignment was at Park Hyatt, Hyderabad as Pastry Chef. Chef Siddharth’s passion is cricket.

Maintenance Manager  - Aadil Kazi

Aadil Kazi is another addition to the ever growing Westin family and has joined us as Maintenance Manager. Aadil has completed his N.C.T.V.T from Mumbai University and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Aadil has over 13 years of experience in the industry. His last assignment was at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, as Assistant Engineer.  Aadil’s passion is driving.
