Gurpreet Sethi, Food & Beverager Manager





Gurpreet Sethi has been appointed as Food & Beverage Manager at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. Gurpreet has completed his Hospitality Management from Indian Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad. He has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Gurpreet’s prior assignment was Banquet Manager, Trident Nariman Point. His previous assignments include Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts Limited and Trident Gurgaon.







Aman Raheja, Account Manger - Catering



Aman Raheja has been appointed as Account Manager – Catering in the Catering Sales Department at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. Aman has completed his BA (Hons) in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad. He has over 4 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Aman’s last assignment was Assistant Manager – Events at JW Marriot, Mumbai. His previous assignments include Food & Beverage Voyager at Courtyard by Marriot, Chennai.

The Westin Mumbai Garden City is pleased to announce key appointments that have taken place in the month of March and April 2013.

We would like to welcome on board, Miss Sharoni Sharma who has been appointed as Venue Manager Prego in Food & Beverage Service at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. Sharoni has completed her Bachelor’s Degree from Welcom Group Graduate School of Hotel Administration. With traveling as her passion Sharoni has over 6 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Sharoni’s prior assignments were Restaurant Manager at The Taj Mahal, New Delhi.

Miss Dhanashree Ekbote is another addition to the ever growing Westin family and has joined us as Assistant GRE Manager in the Front Office Department. With over 09 years of experience in the industry Dhanashree’s last assignment was with Jet Airways as Flight Attendant. Her previous assignments include Front Office Executive at Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, Mumbai. With swimming as a passion, Dhanashree has completed her Graduation in Psychology from Mumbai University.

Purchase Manager.

2. Arvind  Sukhadare:  Arvind  the Team Leader in Housekeeping has been promoted to Assistant Laundry Manager.

3. Essaki  Pandi:  Essaki  the Senior Team Leader Security in Security has been promoted to Assistant Security Manager.

4. Yayati  Narvekar:  Yayati  the Senior Team Leader Security in Security has been promoted to Assistant Security Manager.

Mr.Rajesh Maheshwari, Director of Finance 

We would like to welcome on board, Mr. Rajesh Maheshwari who has joined us as Director of Finance. With over 17 years of experience, Rajesh’s prior assignment was with The Lalit – Mumbai as Financial Controller. His previous work experience includes Regional Financial Accountant – Hyder Consulting Australia, Financial Controller – Stamford Grand North Ryde – Sydney, Sir Stamford at Circular Quay – Sydney, Australia as Hotel Controller. With travelling as a passion, Rajesh has completed his Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has also obtained a Certification in Certified Practicing Accountants from CPA Australia.

Mr.Anurag Mishra, Assistant Financial Controller 

Mr. Anurag Mishra is another addition to the ever growing Westin family and has joined us as Assistant Financial Controller in Finance Department. With over 5 years of experience in the industry Anurag had joined Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels and Resorts as a Management Trainee in Finance Department. He was then heading the finance Department at Le Meridien – Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Anurag has also worked with CA Firms. With acting as a passion, Anurag has completed his Chartered Accountancy and is now pursuing IFRS certification course conducted by ICAI, at New Delhi.

Pastry Chef - Siddharth Anand

We would like to welcome on board, Chef Siddharth Anand who has joined us as Pastry Chef. He has completed his Diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Advance Management, Kolkata and acquired his Degree in Hotel Management from Queen Margaret University College Edinburgh, Scotland. He comes with over 9 years of experience in the industry. His last assignment was at Park Hyatt, Hyderabad as Pastry Chef. Chef Siddharth’s passion is cricket.

Maintenance Manager  - Aadil Kazi

Aadil Kazi is another addition to the ever growing Westin family and has joined us as Maintenance Manager. Aadil has completed his N.C.T.V.T from Mumbai University and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Aadil has over 13 years of experience in the industry. His last assignment was at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, as Assistant Engineer.  Aadil’s passion is driving.
