Earth Hour is a global effort to emphasize the threat of global warming and the need to reduce carbon emissions. It has become a powerful symbol that all of our small steps can have an impactful and lasting difference on the health of our planet.
The Westin Mumbai Garden City shall be adopting the following rituals
• Venues will be using candles for lighting
• Minimum lights in guest areas
• Invite all 269 rooms to participate in MAGC
(Make a Green Choice Programme)
Earth Hour 2012 saw millions of people across 152 countries and territories. Earth Hour 2013 will be held on Saturday 23rd March at 8.30pm - 9.30pm wherever you are in the world. So save the date and let’s unite to protect the planet.
