From October 5, the suburbs will come alive with the city’s finest Saturday nights. We kick things off with the Alfresco Nights – Opening Party at The Westin Mumbai Garden City on Saturday, 5th October 2013! This uplifting and energetic party is firmly focused on the hypnotizing journey of sound that only talented Djs like Anish Sood, Junboy and Aditya Warwani can provide.

The Westin Mumbai Garden City presents great ways to beat the heat at Eighteen The Lounge with Oktoberfest. This festive period we encourage all you passionate guzzlers and discerning tipplers to come experience and affair laden with everyone’s frothy favorites and authentic German grills. 

To take the elevate the vibe we’ve set up an exciting menu for gourmets to relish; including Bavarian Pretzel, Weiner Schnitzel, and off course the most sought after Bratwurst. There’s also top-the-tippler games, those that will tempt you to try out more of what we have in store for you.

The Westin Mumbai Garden City prepares to move well in Stepathlon 2013

Wellbeing takes on a whole new meaning at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, with the start of ‘Stepathlon 2013’, India’s largest mass participation fitness and wellbeing initiative.

Mumbai, 12th September, 2013, saw a gathering of associates at our venue, Westin Woods for a unique, pedometer-based, event which takes place over 100 consecutive days and motivates individuals to take 10,000 steps a day, as recommended by global health authorities. Over these consecutive days, 15 employees will team up and work together to boost their daily physical activity levels at work and outside.
They will compete both internally and against teams from other companies, in a race across more than 40 different locations on Stepathlon’s interactive online map of the ‘virtual world’.

5th September saw a powerful pairing of The Westin Mumbai Garden City’s exceptional hospitality combined with the future of Indian beauty for the absolutely spectacular Miss Diva beauty pageant.

Our panel of awe-inspiring judges included veterans of the glamour industry. Jacqueline Fernandes was a silhouette of angelic splendor, while Malaika Arora Khan made heads turn in haute couture making; Miss Universe Canada Sahar Biniaz’s brilliant beauty sent sighs rolling around her as she stepped on to the red carpet, and the cheer from the crowd on Kunal Kapoor’s arrival was something to reckon. Atul Kasbekar, the man behind the fashion lens has captured many a diva behind the scenes, but he proved to be quite a style example himself dressed in denim chic. Zeenat Aman and Raveena Tandon dressed in elegant Indian wear displayed a classic aura as they spoke gracefully to all the media personnel desperate to interview them.

The Miss Diva pageant began with upbeat popular commercial tunes, perfectly complementing the girls and their ‘LBDs’ or Little Black Dresses. Amidst the show, our Area General Manager Mr. Anuraag Bhatnagar had the opportunity to crown Sonika Chauhan the Westin Miss Popular title and accompany her on a walk down the runway, leaving us all amazed at his charismatic presence on the ramp. The night then suavely shifted in to the much awaited swimwear round where a selection of perfect physiques stormed the runway.


The final round was a bit of shimmer, shine and total sparkle as Mandira Wirk’s masterpieces exemplified each contestant’s beauty even further as they took their final walks down the runway. The girls displayed the perfect balance of beauty and brains soon after as they entered the question answer round and stunned the judges and the audiences with their powerful answers.


The moment of glory finally arrived when the winner of the pageant was announced. And just when all hearts stood still and breathes remained paused, it was declared that Manasi Moghe would be Miss Diva 2013 and be representing the entire Indian nation internationally at The Miss Universe 2013 pageant.
