Since January 2012 Yogesh Sawant administers and monitors the daily IT Procedures in the hotel. He is responsible for the designing and implementation of Preventive Maintenance for all IT hardware & Software. He manages his team very efficiently by assigning their jobs and training them on all needed theoretical and practical procedures, troubleshooting and support within corporate standards. He diligently manages and works closely with the supplier for any software/hardware conflicts. Yogesh frequently develops and adapts new ideas that bring IT services to a higher management and come up with plans to advance its operations.
Yogesh Sawant job role over a period has been changed from a technical professional to a business enabler. His management and skills have not been restricted to computers, applications and internet but have been put to right utility by involving in decision making, budgeting, cost controlling, business analysis towards IT revenue, awareness of IT updates among colleagues, planning and executing business contingency, actively participating in all the hotel audits including GEI, security, finance, Starwood global IT audit and peer review etc. Understanding the need of being tech savvy, Yogesh ensures to train the IT team as well as other departments.
