This 6th December, as always The Westin Mumbai Garden City celebrated the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony with a lot of fun and frolic. All the guests who included in-house guests were welcomed by our lovely Santa Claus and by a live band singing melodious and beautiful carols. They were delighted with the delicious antipastos and traditional mulled wine and eggnog, and celebrated this merry season with us. Not only this, Santa Claus went around distributing chocolates to all the kids and guests. Everyone was awe struck by the beautifully crafted Gingerbread House and Christmas goodies at Daily Treats.

On 10th November, The Westin Mumbai Garden City spread the warmth of the festive season with the harbinger of good tidings and happiness. The traditional cake mixing ceremony herald a truly indulgent Christmas.

Our EAM Mr. Nishant Agarwal welcomed all the guests to an afternoon filled with loads of fun amidst great cheer and fervor. Executive Chef Ajay Chopra began the ceremony by unveiling the cake mixing tray filled with dry fruits, raisins, black currants, candied peel, candied cherries, tutti frutti etc and of course the all important spirits wine, rum, beer and whiskey etc to soak the fruits with. This will be soaked in the spirits until Christmas, which will be then later made into traditional Christmas cakes and will be ready for sale. Model and Actress Sandhya Shetty joined the chefs and guests in mixing the fruits with the various liqueurs.


All the guests enjoyed this traditional Christmas ceremony and it is one of the most novel way to bring in the festive season. The Westin Mumbai Garden City has set the stage for everyone to celebrate a blissful Merry Christmas.
