The Mumbai Farmers’ Market (MFM) expects to see the city’s food & drink enthusiasts congregate at this innovative platform to explore curated culinary experiences and demonstrations, meet a fresh and novel array of exhibitors who will showcase their artisanal produce and grab the opportunity to enjoy the city’s favourite restaurants in an ‘out-of-restaurant’ experience. The Westin Mumbai Garden City brings Mumbai’s first whole foods and lifestyle market - a source of exceptional Indian and international produce.

MFM is the perfect opportunity for the city’s denizens to spend a Sunday leisurely enjoying the weather, walking around the gorgeous tree-laden alfresco space at The Westin Mumbai Garden City eating, drinking, learning and meeting other food & drink enthusiasts. Most importantly it’s an opportunity to familiarize them with a market that represents sustainability, independent, quality food, drink and lifestyle.

A number of the city’s best restaurants will take pride of space to showcase their signature items for an ‘out-of-restaurant’ experience; an excellent opportunity for visitors to sample an array of dishes and cuisines.

More than a dozen of the city’s best bakers and dessert connoisseurs will be brimming with freshly baked breads, cakes, muffins, cupcakes, macaroons and other goodies. Not to forget that 50 exhibitors from all walks of life – horticulture, kitchenware, meats & cheeses, home chefs, imported gourmet importers, vegetables and fruit vendors – will come together to offer a shopping experience for all senses.

MFM will also beckon wine aficionados to spend their day drinking and sampling wines and interacting with some of India’s finest winemakers like York, Sula and Myrah. For those looking to hone their kitchen skills, there are culinary demonstrations scheduled across the day with the likes of Karen Anand, Masterchef Ajay Chopra, barbecue enthusiast Prahlad Kakkar and chocolatier extraordinaire Zeba Kohli will be teaching guests the tricks of the trade.

MFM has been organized on a Sunday because there is something on offer for everyone: adults and kids can enjoy their day tasting the delicious food from some of the best restaurants in the city; an opportunity to buy outstanding gourmet produce; adults can spend the day sipping on wines while the kids are busy channelizing all their energy and curiosity in the fun, most creative environment.
