Chefs at The Westin Mumbai Garden City truly believe that the art of cooking should reach out to people who relish it. In a special culinary session organized by Executive Chef Ajay Chopra and Executive Sous Chef Rahul Dhavle, the EDM patrons engaged in a cook off with some hot favorite Italian delicacies from Prego on Sunday, 29th of June 2014.

Ever vibrant team of Chefs and service staff at Prego; ensured that the guests have an exceptional experience, as the members rolled-up their sleeves behind the counter.  After a brief ‘Welcome’ and general networking session at the Westin Lounge, the members in supervision of Chef Rahul headed to the grand kitchen stepping into the domain of gourmand creators.



While the expert Chefs from Prego took the centre-stage with exciting demonstration on home-made pasta and sauces, members were enthralled to try their hands on preparation of delectable Penne Alfredo and Spaghetti Pomodoro Convendur.




The fine replaced by fun dining was a great treat for our guest giving them an opportunity to enjoy their weekend differently. To further make their weekends special, we made a promise of teaching different cuisines and speciality dishes inviting them to keep coming back for more every Sunday.

Veteran photographer Pradeep Chandra officially launches his pictorial treat Aamir Khan-Actor, Activist, Achiever in association with Niyogi books and The Westin Mumbai Garden City at the exclusive venue Splash.

Mr Pritish Nandy, Mr. Prahlad Kakker,  Mr.Niyogi, Mr Dalip Tahil, Mr.Ayaz Memon  and many more eminent personalities of media and film fraternity were spotted. The much anticipated launch was done by

Mr. Pritish Nandy  who has changed the face of Indian cinema for it to pursue towards corporate excellence, Mr. Prahlad kakker, the renowned add filmmaker who is made ad film making a success field, Mr.Niyogi owner of Niyogi Books and publisher of the book  who has been behind the remarkable progresses and commendable pace of India’s one of the biggest publication house, Mr. Pradeep Chandra and Mr. Anuraag Bhatnagar who “epitomizes the achiever” .

Mr. Pradeep  Chandra deserves the accolade for making a mesmerizing tale out of those pictorial memoirs, he isn't new to writing books on famous personalities. A few years ago he launched a book on M F Hussain and prior to that Mr.Amitabh Bachchan.

To celebrate the launch of the book, the Chef’s at the Westin Mumbai garden city designed a special menu for the guest to savor. The exclusive pool side venue Splash which provides a resort-like oasis in the midst of one of the world’s busiest cities set a joyous tone for the guests to enjoy the delicious appetizers and cocktails. Also, the hotel made special arrangements to showcase the visual journey of the unreleased shots of the Oscar nominated movie Lagaan on a 60 inch plasma screen.
